Europe and microprocessor prostheses

Summer is a big travel time if the year in the US and abroad. Kids are out of school in the US, summer breaks in many of the EU countries. So for limb loss individuals that wear prostheses with microprocessor technology, they need a power source to charge up their prostheses every day. If you have not ever traveled outside of the US, check your destination for their 110v power source configuration, o you may be doomed with a dead knee, ankle, hand or elbow! Just a little advice as this week alone I heard several patients planning some fun trips overseas. If you are on a cruise ship with a main large US based brand, they have most outlet options in your stateroom. You will most likely be good. But if you are going to a VRBO, local boutique hotel, etc. you may need a conversion kit you can easily find on line and @ Amazon like the pic 👇. Be prepared and have FUN!!!
